How to get the best generated photos?
Select a clear photo taken from the front which shows your face and body waist up. For headshots, try to match the pose of the style. Avoid filtered photos from Instagram etc. Avoid group shots. Pick a photo without headgear, caps, hats, sunglasses, and one with a neutral expression.
If you don't have a good photo to upload, take a good selfie from about 6ft (2m) out from your face on a sunny day. You can use a tripod or ask someone to take the photo for you. Take a natural photo without any camera filters. Bring the mood you want to see in your generated photo.
Do you store the uploaded photos?
Photos you upload are only used for generating the images. Our model infrastructure providers delete them automatically after about an hour. Our servers delete them the next day (UTC).
To handle user feedback and queries, we store the uploaded image up to a month offline. They are only used for investigating and answering customer support queries. See Privacy for more details.

How long does it take to create the styles?
Less than 20 seconds in most cases. In rare cases it may take a little longer.
Can I apply many styles without waiting?
Yes, you can select any number of styles to apply for your selected photo. But select carefully to match with your pose.
Why do some generated images don't look like me?
Generated images to a large extent depends on the photo you uploaded. We try to limit the effect of this and give you the best possible outcome, but it's impossible to account for all possible variations and defects of the uploaded photos.
If your photo does not yield a good generated photo, try again or try with a different photo that matches the pose of the style.
